Martyr’s Memorial A Division League football tournament will be held from today.
The league will be inaugurated by Balendra Sah, Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City. The opening ceremony, which will start from 4:30 pm, will be attended by various celebrities and various politicians and special guests from various fields.
In the first match of the league, there will be a competition between FC Khumaltar and Friends Club. The first match at Dasharath Stadium will start at 5:30 PM. The top division league will be organized on three grounds and will be based on double round robin. This time the league will be held at Dashrath Stadium, ANFA Complex and Chasal Ground. There will be a total of 182 games in this league.
This time the league winner will get Rs.75 lakh, the second team will get Rs.50 lakh and the third team will get Rs.25 lakh. Fair play team will get 3 lakhs. The Most Valuable Player will get Rs 3 lakh, the highest scorer and the best goalkeeper will get Rs 2 lakh and the Emerging Player will get Rs 150,000.
The winning club of each match will receive 50,000 rupees as match money, while the amount will be divided equally between the two clubs that are tied. The man of the match of each match will get 10,000 rupees.
Sankata Club, Nepal Police Club, Satdobato Youth Club, Tribhuvan Army, NRT, Jaulakhel Youth Club, Manang Masyangdi, Three Star, Khumaltar, Church Boys and other teams will compete in the league.
