Paul Shah Rape case: At the District Police Office in Tanahu, popular vocalist Samikshya Adhikari has filed a rape case against actor Paul Shah.
The 17-year-old singer filed a rape complaint against Shah, alleging that he raped her under the guise of love. A legal process has already been started on the matter, according to police.
Actor Shah is accused of rapping the youngster and falsely promising to marry her in the complaint filed on Wednesday. Shah allegedly offered to marry Adhikari in order to get her into the ‘love affair.’
Earlier, singer Adhikari asked for aid, claiming that Shah had treated her unfairly. Last Thursday, she met with human rights activist Jasmin Ojha and appealed for assistance in obtaining justice, revealing “the circumstances in which actor Shah had raped” her.
Several media outlets made an audio recording of Ojha and Adhikari’s conversation public a few days ago. During their talk, singer Adhikari is overheard discussing a brawl she had with Paul’s previous lover.
Paul, on the other hand, claims that Adhikari was incited by someone to smear his reputation and jeopardize his career. He’s even gone so far as to make a lengthy message on social media claiming his innocence.
