Direct flights between Nepal and Sri Lanka will start next Tuesday.
Sri Lankan Ambassador to Nepal Himali Arunatilka tweeted that direct Kathmandu-Colombo flight would start from Tuesday.
Spokesperson of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal Raj Kumar Chhetri informed that Kathmandu-Colombo flights will be operated on two Tuesdays and Saturdays of the week.
Spokesperson Chhetri said, “Summer schedule for Kathmandu-Colombo direct flight has been approved till September 4.”
Kathmandu-Colombo fares range from a minimum of 599 to a maximum of 1,158 Dollars. The flight will be operated by Sri Lanka Air, the national flag carrier of Sri Lanka.
