New Delhi: When the audience’s favorite actors suddenly leave a popular show, it not only hurts them, but the popularity of the show also decreases. Something similar happened when Shailesh Lodha came out of ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’. Though the makers have replaced him with newcomer Sachin Shroff, it will take time for him to make a place in the hearts of the audience.
Apart from Shailesh Lodha, Raj Anadkat, who plays Jethalal’s son Tappu, has also left the show. Nitish brought Bhaluni in his place. Shailesh disclosed his differences with the makers of ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ at an event. These differences became the reason for his leaving the show. According to media reports, the actor was invited to an event, where he spoke openly on many issues.

Shailesh Lodha targeted its producer Asit Modi, citing the reason for leaving the show. The actor said, ‘People who make their name on the reputation of others, cannot be greater than a person of prestige. No publisher in the world can be bigger than a writer, no producer can be bigger than an actor, he is a businessman.

The 53-year-old actor further says, ‘Whenever a businessman dominates my being a poet, my being an actor, then a volcano will erupt.’ Shailesh told how publishers make money from writer’s work and despite this bitter truth, they always treat them unfairly. In a direct attack, Sailesh said, ‘In this country publishers wear diamond rings and writers who want to get their books published have to pay.’

Shailesh finally says, ‘If those people who earn money from other people’s talent start considering themselves higher than talented people, then they should raise their voice. I can be one of those talented people who have raised their voice. It is said that Shailesh’s fee for an episode was Rs 1 lakh. When he was out of the show last year, there were discussions that he left the show due to money. Denying these reports, the producer of the show had said in a statement that when you leave a company or a show, you have to do so under a process. Everyone has to complete the formalities. No company releases the payment before the formalities are completed.
