Chitwan defeated Kathmandu Kings XI by 3 wickets in a match played at the Tribhuvan Cricket Ground, Kirtipur on Thursday. Chitwan reached the target of 142 runs set by Kathmandu by losing 7 wickets with 8 balls to spare.
Rajesh Pulami scored 26 runs, Dilip Nath and Kamal Singh Airee scored 23 runs each.
Earlier, after losing the toss, Kathmandu lost 8 wickets in 20 overs and scored 141 runs. Subash Khakurel scored 35, Raju Rijal 28 and Janak Prakash 26 runs for his team.
Sagar Dhakal of Chitwan took 4 wickets for 21 runs in 4 overs.
