To encourage agricultural production and the selling of agricultural products, a fair will be held in Palpa.
The Krishi Mela, 2079, which will take place on March 13 in Tansen municipality’s Ward 9 is now being prepared.
The fair’s main topic is “Participation in agricultural, end of reliance,” and it is being organized by the Agricultural Service Center, Damkada, Madanpokhara Sangam Cooperatives, and Krishimela Consumer Committee.
The fair’s organization is also supported by the Agricultural Knowledge Center Palpa, the Prime Minister Agricultural Modernization Project, and the Project Implementation Unit Palpa.
The fair will include competitive agricultural exhibitions, displays of local crop types, goat- and chicken-rearing competitions, sales and distribution of nursery plants, among other things.
The goal of this event is to motivate farmers to switch to commercial farming and boost agricultural output.
