United Samajwadi leader Saroj Kumar Upadhyay passed away. He is also the brother of United Samajwadi Party President Madhav Kumar Nepal.
Upadhyay fell from the sixth floor of a restaurant in Shankhamul on Saturday. According to Bijay Poudel, Deputy General Secretary of United Samajwadi Party, he was immediately rescued and taken to the Civil Hospital.
From there, he was taken to Annapurna Hospital, Metropolitan Police Complex, Kathmandu SSP Dan Bahadur Karki informed.
