With the resumption of the monsoon, it is still raining in different parts of the country.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is light to moderate rain in Gandaki, Lumbini, and some parts of the far-western states and a small part of the rest of the states.
Due to the active monsoon, heavy rains are expected in most parts of the country for three days now.
There is a possibility of heavy rain with thunder/lightning in a few places in Province 1, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, Lumbini Province, and Far Western Province this afternoon. The department has called for vigilance as there is a possibility of ‘very heavy rain in one or two places in the far western state and Lumbini state.
