The Nagdhunga-Naubise road has been blocked today due to landslides caused by incessant rains.
Chief of the Metropolitan Police Circle, Thankot, Deputy Superintendent of Police Mohan Khan informed that the road section was blocked due to a landslide near Chisapani Dharan on Tribhuvan Highway.
At present, vehicles have to wait in line to exit the capital through Nagdhunga and enter the valley. He said that a police team has reached the site to avert the landslide. Passengers have been suffering due to landslides while the highway was being widened near Sisnekhola.
