On Sunday, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index fell 7.73 points to close at 2,653.70 points.
In addition to the NEPSE index, the Sensitive Index, which measures the turnover of Class A companies, fell 0.73 points. Sunday’s total revenue was approximately Rs 3.32 billion.
7,040,563 shares of 224 companies were traded in 49,670 transactions, resulting in a Rs 3.32 billion turnover.
Despite the market downturn, hydropower companies’ and some other groups’ share prices have increased significantly. Everest Insurance Company’s promoter shares became the top gainer, with the share price increasing by Rs 20.
Similarly, the National Hydropower Company‘s share price increased 15.86 percent to close at Rs 366. Additionally, the share prices of several companies have increased significantly, including Chilime Hydropower, Barun Hydropower, Rasuwagadhi Hydropower Company Limited, and Himalayan Power Partner Ltd.
