Broker Commission

Commission charged by brokers for facilitating transactions (tiered structure):

• Up to NPR 50,000: 0.40%
• NPR 50,000 - 500,000: 0.37%
• NPR 500,000 - 2 million: 0.34%
• NPR 2-10 million: 0.30%
• Above NPR 10 million: 0.27%

Minimum commission: NPR 10

DP Fee

NPR 25 per company charged for maintaining your demat account. This fee is charged once per company per trading day, regardless of transaction amount or frequency.

SEBON Fee

Regulatory fee charged at 0.015% of the transaction amount for Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) oversight and market development.

Capital Gain Tax

Applied only when selling shares at a profit:

• Individuals (≤1 year): 7.5%
• Individuals (>1 year): 5%
• Promoters: 10%
